Finally, a new banner design with fresh photos...all taken in Siesta Key, FL. Shocking, I know. ;) New music too!
2009 is off and running and all is well in my world thus far. I even managed to write "2009" on a check today and not 2008. It seems like it usually takes me a couple months to get in the groove of writing the new year, but maybe not this year.
I'm trying to get back in the swing of scrapping. I haven't scrapped a layout since the middle of November and it seems like forever. I've done quite a few cards and I enjoyed getting back into my stash even if it wasn't creating layouts. Even still, I'm ready for some layout challenges to light my fire.
I made a few Christmas thank-yous this weekend that were sent to a neighbor who brought us cookies, my sister-n-law's mother who snuck Bath & Body lotion into my stocking and to a sweet, scrappy buddy who sent me lots of scrappy funsies! ;) And just to get myself up and running, I more or less lifted this design by Tami Hartley. I absolutely LOVE my Cuttlebug embossing folders! The texture they add is just amazing and I think that's what sold me on lifting the design.

So, who out there is excited about Becky Higgin's 365 kit? Luckily, I was able to order a kit even though the checkout process took a LONG time, but I eventually got checked out and received my confirmation email. Hope it actually arrives! Who knows after that mess though, lol! If not, I'll deal with it. ;) I've got all my photos in a folder on my computer and am editing along the way. I think it'll be a VERY COOL project at the end of the year. How fun to review the year and see all the little things we/I did each day. Sounds like something I'll treasure for a long time!

Those cards are just beautiful! I am enjoying your music too. I was about to post the bloggy award on my blog but had to leave yours open to hear the songs. LOL I esp like the color song so I went to hit replay and saw the cards. I want the embossing folders now. *pout*
