Project 365 Photos - 1/25 - 1/31

Good morning everyone! I've got to say that hubby was over the moon excited about his Steelers taking the Super Bowl on Sunday! Although I'm not sure how much more post game re-hash I can watch! Oy!

I can't believe that January has come and gone already, which means as far as Project 365 goes, I'm one month down, 11 to go! ;) Seriously, it's been REALLY fun! It seems like as each of my days move along, I'm constantly thinking "I wonder what I'll take a photo of today?". It really makes me aware my daily activity and sometimes I find myself thinking, "gosh, I hope I don't miss a unique moment that I might want to capture". Then I'm quickly reminded that, "hellooooo....you have 300+ more days to capture that unique moment!", LOL! It's turning into a neat project! Today I'll be working on getting January together with my journaling (no, I haven't done any journaling yet, yikes!)in the album.

Last week's photos...)

Hubby had unloaded the dishwasher (he's always so sweet and helpful like that) and I found these dishes sitting on the counter when he was done. The cupboard these go into drives him NUTS, so he left them out for me to put away! LOL!

Okay, can you say BARGAIN? I went to Walmart to pick up a few things and as I was walking by the Philadelphia cream cheese (the 1/3 Less Fat kind, my FAVORITE!), I saw a sign that said "4 for $1.00". Of couse I was like...what? $.25 for Philly cream cheese? I checked the expiration date (I have found that Walmart is notorious for selling outdated products!!) and they didn't expire until the middle of February so I was all over that! A quarter!

A photo of my passenger seat with my errand debris on it, lol. My gloves, lens cap, wallet, Goodwill donation receipt, Maureen McCormick's (Marcia from the Brady Bunch) new book (poor thing had quite a life) I picked up from the library, and the sweetest little handwritten note from my nephew. He had written "To Ant Nicole and Big D - I mist yu". OMGOSH. I just love him. He gave it to me when I had stopped by my sister's that day. Awww, I almost cried.

Hubby snowblowing round one of the near foot of snow we got!! I just LOVE snow! Too much is never enough! :)

I made salmon for dinner...LOVE salmon!

A load of reds in the washer...(we usually have 2 loads of reds between us. We love red.) :)

I had 4 very brown, tired-looking bananas and decided to try a new recipe to use them up. I made Martha Stewart's Banana Cupcakes with Honey-Cinnamon Cream Cheese Icing (yep, used some of my bargain cream cheese, lol!). Can you tell I used to decorate cakes? ;) It was the BEST recipe for banana cupcakes/bread!

There you have it! :)

Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday! Thanks for dropping by! Photobucket

Very cool photos, Nicole! Love all the unique shots you're getting. I feel like I'm taking an awful lot of photos of my daughter. Kinda repetitive, but I still think I'll love the whole project at the end.

LOVE your pretty cupcake!! Wade would do the same about a cabinet if I'm particular about where or how I put my things up. Yep, I'm like that about a lot of things. He is too so he understands. ;) Your daily photos are inspiring. Maybe I can do this next year. I knew there was no way I could this year so I didn't even amuse myself by trying. LOL
